Singer John Mayer was spotted shooting a basketball around and working out around his silver Audi R8. HollywoodStatus has only spotted him with his Ford GT in Gulf Racing Colors and Land Rover Defender since the site has been up. We couldn't find any better shots of the R8 outside this one but we will keep looking for more snaps of the Audi. We have heard he has quite the collection and will keep hunting for more of his vehicles.

John Mayer with a blue Land Rover Defender

Check out John Mayer with an old school Land Rover Defender. From 1993 to 1998 this shipped to the United States in very small numbers. Sadly the car was killed once passenger compartments were required to have airbags and side impact door safety requirements. As a rugged off-road SUV this thing really puts the Porsche Cayenne and G-550 to shame. John Mayer has a clear passion for automobiles including a Gulf Racing Ford GT40 we documented earlier.

While this car quite possibly has one of the dumbest doors ever built I love the new Ford GT. While John Mayer has a quality collection of cars this Ford GT is one of my favorites in his collection. The #6 Gulf Racing paint comes from the factory and is a great tribute to American muscle in European racing.
